What Kindred does

Kindred helps users keep track of important relationships and receive gentle reminders when it may be time to reconnect.
Information you enter

You may choose to enter names, relationship type, notes, phone numbers, WeChat reference text, and reminder status.
How the information is used

This information is used only to save your records on-device, calculate reminder timing, and provide contact entry points such as phone or WeChat.
Local-first storage

In the current version, relationship data and reminder status are stored on your device by default. Kindred does not upload your relationship records to a remote server by default.
Permissions

Kindred may request notification permission so the app can send local reminder notifications. The current version does not need contacts, microphone, photo library, location, or calendar access.
No social tracking

Kindred does not read your system contacts, WeChat data, call history, and does not use your relationship information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Your control

You can edit or delete your records in the app at any time. If you remove data from the app, the local records on the device are removed accordingly.

生效日期：2026 年 5 月 10 日。Kindred 尊重并重视你的隐私。Kindred 是一款本地优先的关系提醒工具，设计原则是尽可能少地收集数据，并尽可能让与你的重要关系相关的信息只留在你的设备上。

你可以主动在应用中填写联系人姓名或昵称、关系类型、备注、手机号、微信备注文字信息以及提醒状态。这些信息仅用于在设备本地保存联系人记录、计算提醒时间、生成本地提醒通知，以及在你点击相关入口时提供联系捷径。

当前版本默认不会将你的联系人数据上传到远程服务器，也不会读取系统通讯录、微信数据、通话记录，不会用于广告投放、跨应用跟踪或第三方营销。

Kindred 可能会请求通知权限，用于发送温和的本地提醒。如果你拒绝通知权限，应用仍然可以继续使用，只是不会显示系统通知。
